Trap at the elevator

The university I am teaching is actually located in the middle town (Phnom Penh commercial district). We are not exclusively renting the whole building. Most of the tenants are banks, cafes, logistics and others. Since our institution occupies 5 floors (1,6,7,8,9 floors), we get much of the access on the five elevators. There was a scary incident in one of the elevators that led six people (including 3 lecturers) got trapped. It was terrible that they were stuck there for 30 minutes without any signals!! we just knew they were gone missing pretty long. Thank goodness the building operations were able to restore power and located them. It was traumatizing for them (one lecturer is even on a wheelchair!). Have you ever been trapped? I could just imagine how dreadful it is.

where the lecturers and student got stuck for 30 minutes! 😨😲
Psalm 31 is a heartfelt prayer of king David, a man who experienced numerous trials and challenges throughout his life. It's powerful reminder that even in the darkest moments of our lives, God remains steadfast and faithful to those who seek Him.

David felt stuck in Psalm 31:21-22. He recalls being in a fortified city, feeling shut off from God's sight and overcome with despair and solitude. But David never lost sight of God's character and fidelity. When David called out to the Lord for mercy, God heard him and extended His hand. This verse reminds us that God's love and mercy are never far away. When we cry out to Him in sincerity, He hears us and responds with compassion.

Psalm 31:24
"Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord."

The verse encourages us to trust in God's character and promises, recognizing His unwavering love and unwavering support during distress. This hope provides a source of strength beyond our circumstances.
