How to Finish strong?

It's my birthday 😅😂💖😍 I praise God for another year.

Yep! my husband and I birthdays are just days apart. As I shared from my last blog, we don't normally prepare for parties at home. But what a sweet surprise when I came home from work. My sister in-law made our dinner extra special with her homemade Khmer desserts!

Birthday Reflection

Every day is always a gift of life. It's all about God's grace that we get to breathe and celebrate His goodness in our lives. I love how He would speak to me through the scriptures. And today, He let me claim 2 Timothy 4:7. Isn't that great?

As I reflect at 2 Timothy 4:7, 'I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.' Imagine these words as a warm embrace, a gentle reminder that in life's battles, in our journey through challenges and victories, in our quest to uphold our faith and values, we are not alone. Just as a mother guides her child through the storms of life and a wife stands as a pillar of strength for her husband, this verse assures us that we too can persevere.

Paul's message here is one of unwavering resolve, of pressing on even when the road gets tough, of staying true to our beliefs and convictions. It's like a mother's comforting presence, assuring us that we are capable of enduring, of overcoming, of triumphing.

Just as a mother's love knows no bounds and a wife's support is unwavering, let us take these words to heart. Let us face each day with the same determination, the same faithfulness, the same resolve that Paul embodied. For in our fights, in our races, in our keeping of the faith, we find strength, we find purpose, and we find the unwavering love and support of those who walk alongside us.

I am taking verse as my hope and inspiration, guiding me with that gentle touch of devotion as a mom and as a wife the Lord has called me. I desire to claim this wisdom, and walk forward with courage, knowing that I, too, can say in my heart, 'I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.'

To be nourished in my faith as I claimed 2 Timothy 4:7, here are four additional insights I would like to share to you:
1. Stay Committed: Regardless of the challenges or circumstances, stand firm in your principles.
2. Finish Strong: Persevere in your faith journey and run the course of life with passion and determination.
3. Fight the Good Fight: Be solid in your principles, resisting doubt and external forces that can persuade you from your beliefs.
4. Maintain the Faith: Believe in God's promises and guidance while retaining a firm and unbroken faith in His presence and assistance.

We can maintain our faith by remaining devoted, persisting, standing firm, and trusting in God, as 2 Timothy 4:7 encourages us.

Love you from Cambodia!
