My mission to Cambodia 🇰🇭 newsletter 2007 |
I felt ecstatic about it! this has been more than a decade. I think it was apart from my newsletter a few months before I flew to Cambodia for my mission journey.
I was soliciting for prayers then (1-minute prayer shield!). Lanie said she kept it for a long time - that was a sweet and unexpected gesture to beat. Honestly, I have not even kept any of those letters anymore. It just warms my heart to the bits.
Pastora Lanie has not forgotten our deep connection way back. She was studying in the Bible school back then - I knew for sure God has been putting passion in my heart to help her out. So even with my tiny earnings, I have pledged to save some to send her small support (actually it didn't have to be money but mostly prayers, food/snacks, other supplies). I didn't think it was even a burden but a love for the people that God will be using in His Kingdom.
**Pastor Lanie, I am also amazed on how God has blessed you with. You are in a place where you haven't imagined to be, but God has a greater plan for you there in Italy. I remembered on those days you would confine to me and expressed many doubts on how you will be an effective leader someday. That even the financial condition you were facing before might not be viable for you to continue because your family needed you. I am rejoicing for you have stayed and obeyed God. You persevered and became really resilient. As I shared with you, sometimes we might feel exhausted while serving Him in the field, but take heart God knows and sees our hearts. It is really like that, our service humbles us all the time. I pray that God will continue to affirm and strengthen your passion. You might experience you have tried and done your very best but not being recognized - God sees it more than you will ever know ading! Fighting 👊👍👏
Recipient of God's grace!
I am recipient of God's love and also was able to experience to be loved by Compassion sponsors years back (couple from Australia who love the Lord Aunt Michelle and Uncle Glen Coulthard).
This sweet young couple has supported me since I was in grade school until I graduated college. That alone is a powerful example to emulate. They love the Lord that they were willing to give out what they have to support a little girl in the Philippines. They could have just stop supporting me, but I believed they have kept that commitment - I felt that love even up and until today. I am so glad to be able to reunite with them. God is faithful indeed!
This photo was also sent to me by aunt Michelle a few weeks ago. She has also kept some of our communications/information about me growing up 😅😍💕 I feel really grateful! |
