My garden

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

A Jungle house!
I love plants 💚😁😅 a lot. This hobby perhaps has become my relaxing activity aside from baking I guess. On a weekend, you will see me doing something in the garden, I even make my own organic fertilizer using kitchen scraps. My husband sometimes would tell me I'm overboard with it - I have made our house into a jungle that's what he describes it! 🌳😂 I have many kinds: from flowering buds, climbing, dangling plants, herbs, vegetables and even fruits like mangoes!
My plants are usually a wonderful conversational starter whenever we have visitors at home. They would be amazed on how plants could easily grow - they would end up "taking plant starters" when they get home.
Plants surprisingly cleans the air and improve health, that's why I won't regret propagating them.
I love it when I would see tiny buds blooming and sprouting roots. But I would also feel blue if some of them would die because of neglection.

I do appreciate Philipians 4:6-7 today. I’m glad to be able to claim it because sometimes I still do worry. We are like the garden, if we worry a lot the soil would grow weeds (these are our worries and cares) that’s why we should guard our hearts and minds.
Of course, we can’t just do it by ourselves- we need God to help us go through it.
The antidote of being worried would-be prayers and claiming God’s promises 😉
And the best part is God is giving us peace that transcends all understanding.

My garden at home is too small compared to farms and backyards I have seen from TV or even from our friends who have bigger properties, but I am grateful everyday because whenever I tend to it - God would always let me remember that He is the source of it.
I can just lay and cast all my worries to Him because He cares for me.
What a wonderful Savior we have that even the tiny details about me are significant to Him.

During Pandemic, our backyard was turned into herbs and vegetable garden.
We praise God for fruitful organic harvest!
