Filipino community 💕
Bayanihan
Just recently, there was a family of Filipino Missionary who experienced a devastating fire. The have lost their homes, belongings, and sense of security, and definitely in need of support to help them heal and rebuild their lives. Thank God for a strong and solid Filipino community here in Cambodia. We're grateful to be able to extend our immediate help to them that even our David was able to participate. He gave out some of his loved clothes and shoes. Once we sorted the stuff, we washed and cleaned them well (so they can just use them right away). We continue to pray for their fast recovery (husband and wife were still at the ICU while six children are now under the care of a family friend in the field).
We must not become weary in our efforts to do good, as failure to persist will result in a lack of fruitful results.
Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
*Bayanihan, a Filipino term derived from the word bayan, signifies being a bayan, promoting communal unity and cooperation within the community.
