December 2025 Ministry Recap
This Christmas season, our hearts have been drawn again to the familiar yet powerful words from Luke 2:8 to 10. When the shepherds were watching their flocks at night, the angel of the Lord appeared to them, and they were afraid. But the angel said, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.”
These words feel especially meaningful this season.
In a world filled with uncertainty, tension, and unanswered questions, God’s first message was comfort. Do not be afraid. Jesus has come. And because He has come, we have joy, peace, love, and hope that cannot be taken away.
Jesus is the reason for this season. He is not only part of our celebration, He is the source of our joy. Our peace. Our love. Our hope.
Displaced Communities in Cambodia
Here in Cambodia, December has been both meaningful and heavy. While we celebrated Christmas worship and rejoiced in what God is doing among our students, we are also aware of the ongoing border tensions between Cambodia and Thailand. Some of our students have families affected by this situation. The future feels uncertain for many, and fear is very real.
Yet, we hold on to this truth. Even when we do not see it. Even when we do not feel it. God is working. He never stops working.
This month, we were reminded again that God often works quietly, gently, and faithfully, just as He did on that night when Jesus was born in a manger.
December Reflections and Highlights
Throughout this month, the Lord led us to reflect on peace, courage, love, and light through these shared reflections:
Peace Day in Cambodia 👈✌
A reminder that true peace does not come from agreements or circumstances alone, but from hearts transformed by Christ. We continue to pray that God’s peace will guard families, communities, and nations.
A Christmas reflection from Luke 2, reminding us that God meets us in our fear and speaks comfort before instruction. Jesus is with us, even in uncertainty.
An encouragement to live openly and faithfully before God, choosing truth, obedience, and light in a world that often feels dark.
Each of these reflections points us back to Jesus. He is our anchor. He is our light. He is our peace. .png)
