30 day challenge!
I'm on a 30 day challenge of claiming specific "prayers" for my husband. Got this idea/link from a christian blogger. I'm just so happy that I'm able to be led on these needs. Of course I pray for my husband everyday, but this list has given me more guidelines so as to say. Right now, I'm on my 16th day I think (ok.. so, I confess - got tied up a little bit.. actually I'm 4days behind.. guilty me) So, going back.. I have prayed for my husband's PROTECTION today. Two verses have helped me claimed this prayer: a) My steps have held fast to thy paths, My feet have not slipped. Psalm 17:5 and b)
I'm very convince that husbands need prayers from their wives. It's a powerful thing that binds a marriage. In the past 3 years, I have found out that prayers really a strong weapon to combat fears and insecurities. I'm still learning on this area, humbling myself to be changed daily. Our husbands are a gift from God. We should treasure and take care of them like gem in our lives. I'm so happy that my husband is not perfect, because I have so many flaws too! it's just so amazing that in our imperfections, God is using and molding us to be a compliment for each other. My husband and I have our prayer time together, and I enjoyed every minute of it because we can hear each others prayers. It's kinda thrill for me whenever he prays specific concerns about me.. feel the sincerity and love! (I hope he feels that too!). But then again, this 30 day challenge of prayer for husband is on my quiet time with the Lord. I claim and pray for my husband privately. I haven't told him about it yet (just keeping it as a secret first, he might know it someday). It's just so wonderful to see some results and wonderful feedback. I'm praising and thanking God whisperly each time.
I did some DIY on this 30 day list actually. First, I copied the format and saved it in my folder. Second, set some settings to put it on box (using the microsoft word) print to a colored paper I choose pink and cut it. Third, arranged it per day and then make a small hole on the right upper portion just enough to gather them on a ring. Here's what I got:
I usually do this in my early morning devotion and prayer. My journal has it all! I love spending time with God in the morning. I feel refreshed and renewed. I can't be myself with out Him. My Jesus completes me that's why I feel very incomplete and really really get exhausted during the day whenever I couldn't do my morning routines with Him.
