Yesterday was a grand gift to all of us and has put our full effort in the history of academics. It's a pride to be able to contribute to the education sector in Cambodia. Having the Prime Minister Manet in our graduation is definitely a "national event". My husband even watched the event live.  Sharing to you some highlight scenes and news:  👉 Limkokwing University Graduation da y  👉 PM Manet's speech points   Choir Rehearsals with Dato Tiffany (Chief Brand Officer - Limkokwing University KL, she's also the daughter of our late Founder and President Tansri University Choir singing "You raise me up" Some of the top media outfits who featured our graduation event  I had to get a copy of this commemorative magazine since my face is on the page 😅😍 At the graduation ceremony at Limkokwing Cambodia, Prime Minister Hun Manet advocated in favor of Cambodia's path to development and self-reliance. My journey as a University Lecturer

Image
😅😁😍 Still on a major high from the recently concluded graduation event a few days ago. Our university is all over the place, and we became the talk of the town in a wonderful way - just because the Prime Minister was our VIP guest. He brought atleast his 92 entourage consists of his cabinets and ministers plus platoon of securities.  That event was  definitely a big breakthrough for Limkokwing University. It's really a privilege to be working for this global organization. I can't thank God enough! I used to doubt on my capacity to teach, because I know my limitations.  Back in the Philippines, to be a qualified teacher, one should finish a teaching course and should have a license. And if there's a desire to teach on higher levels like college or in the university, one should have a master's degree. I didn't have all of those. I took up bachelor's in science in Tourism, because I thought I would be working in the airline industry. Praise God for another oppor...

Peace Day in Cambodia

Image
Today is a holiday in Cambodia. It is Peace Day . This is actually a new holiday created just last year in 2024. When it was announced, many of us welcomed it with hope. A day meant to remind us that peace matters. A day to pause and reflect on unity, healing, and safety for our nation. And yet, who would have thought that this year, a border dispute with Thailand would take place so close to this very day. It feels ironic. Peace Day arrives while bombs have shaken border communities. Families have been displaced. Homes have been damaged. Fear has quietly entered places where children once played freely. For many, peace suddenly feels fragile and uncertain. In moments like this, staying silent does not feel right. As a family, and as part of a faith community, we felt a strong pull to do something. Even something small. We could not just watch from a distance and move on with our daily routines as if nothing was happening. These are not just headlines. These are real people. Mothers. ...

How Do You Refuel with Joy?

Image
The university semester is ending soon, and we have had lots of activities in and out of our campus. Few weeks ago, we brought our students on our university’s annual study trip to Siem Reap. Every year, this trip feels like both a mountain climb and a mountain top. It is exhausting, exhilarating, and always filled with surprises. It is also one of those moments that stretches not just the students, but us lecturers as well. This year’s program was different from the past. We designed it with more intention, adding activities that went beyond the tourist attractions. Of course, we still visited the famous Angkor Wat, but we wanted the trip to be more than sightseeing. We wanted it to be an opportunity for students to see life with fresh eyes, to witness realities outside the walls of their classrooms, and to experience moments that would open their hearts to the needs of others.  Siemreap 2025 - Photos credit to Limkokwing University Discovering Life Beyond the City One of the hi...

Faith Project Update

Image
If you have been following my blog, you may already know that sometime last year, our family started what we now call our Faith Project. It is a small home-based business that grew alongside our existing Divine Pasta shop. It was never meant to be just about income. It was never about chasing growth or recognition. It was a step of obedience. A response to what God placed in our hands. And honestly, at the beginning, we did not even know where it would lead. Today’s devotion reminded me of something very simple but deeply true. God often works quietly. Not always in big announcements or dramatic moments, but in small steps of obedience, in daily faithfulness, and in seeds planted with prayer and trust. As I reflected on that, my heart was drawn back to our Faith Project and to how all of this started not in a boardroom, not in a business plan, but in our own kitchen. With what we already had. With a willing heart. With faith that God can use even the smallest beginnings. Starting Smal...
