The heartbreaking news of the Jeju airplane crash in South Korea has left many grieving, not only in the nation itself but across the world. Last night, as my family gathered for our evening prayers, we lifted up South Korea and especially the bereaved families to the Lord. This tragedy is a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the enduring need for faith, even in the midst of sorrow. South Korea is a nation known for its spiritual fervor, being home to some of the largest Christian congregations and a legacy of prayerful intercession. Perhaps this moment, though devastating, is also an opportunity for spiritual revival—a call for the church to unite in prayer and faith. Today, I write not only with a heavy heart but with a firm trust in God’s sovereignty.
