To all our american friends and prayer partners...

30 day challenge!

I'm on a 30 day challenge of claiming specific "prayers" for my husband. Got this idea/link from a christian blogger. I'm just so happy that I'm able to be led on  these needs. Of course I pray for my husband everyday, but this list has given me more guidelines so as to say. Right now, I'm on my 16th day I think (ok.. so, I confess - got tied up a little bit.. actually I'm 4days behind.. guilty me) So, going back.. I have prayed for my husband's PROTECTION today. Two verses have helped me claimed this prayer: a)  My steps have held fast to thy paths, My feet have not slipped. Psalm 17:5 and b)  I'm very convince that husbands need prayers from their wives. It's a powerful thing that binds a marriage. In the past 3 years, I have found out that prayers really a strong weapon to combat fears and insecurities. I'm still learning on this area, humbling myself to be changed daily. Our husbands are a gift from God. We should treasure and take ca...

Sky Fall 007

This pregnant mama had a hot date last night! Honey treated us for a movie/dinner date..Our first time to the cinema as "trio" It's a wonderful film, highly recommended! Got curious on James Bond's lady (the woman in China/Macau shots) is a half asian.. has a Khmer Blood! she's pretty and really good.. hope she will have more acting stint after this film. It wasn't a premier night at Citi Mall last night, but people (mostly Expats) have drawn to the cinema.. to think that it's already a last full show.. amusing! Oh, did I mentioned that my husband-007 had the proved to be James Bond? On the way home, our community guard and some men saw a snake, they have been trying to get rid of it (kill!) because it might threat the children near a primary school. To no avail. They had hard time to do it..So, my husband came to the rescue.. he hurriedly took a long big stick and bravely went closer to chase the snake, with few whippings.. my James Bond -husband wa...

I'm thanking God for this wonderful journey of being a pregnant woman. My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and the earth! I don't know, it's just amazing to have a tiny life - developing and growing inside my belly! I wonder what's going on inside .. let's look at my baby's up to: As I research, our little one is now called a fetus "medical terms" The most critical part  of the fetus'development is complete. Entering to a more rapid growth. The baby's head is now about half its length, soon the rest of the body's growth will catch up. There's already little eye and it's color is also determined by this point. The placenta begins to function this week. **Placenta - is the organ responsible for both the provision of nutrients along with the removal of waste to keep the baby growing strong. Thank God my morning sickness is very manageable. No more nausea and vomiting! I had heartburn yesterday, it was my first ...

We finally announced to the world! where else can we announce it? FACEBOOK! In just few minutes of uploading our photos! it has gone viral, and I got lots of "likes" and comments. I have been thinking how can we best announce it to everyone... mmmm.. got some inspiration from Pinterest! ours is not sophisticated, because we can't afford to hire a professional photographer to do it. Just being resourceful and creative ha! So, here it is ... OVERJOYED!  This verse has spoken to us for several times, it has been one of our lives living testimonies. Trusting and depending on God's favor. We are claiming amazing plans and unimaginable future with Him. This was a real thing! In the morning of Oct. 12  I rushed myself to tried this pregnancy kit, it gave us a positive result! REJOICING!  we only informed our family members in the Philippines and Kampong Cham first ("soft announcement")

It's my first ever ultrasound today. Thrilled! excited! nervous.... this is the day we have been waiting for ... We're supposed to go to the Central Hospital, but we just choose to go to the nearest hospital instead (Sensok International Hospital) as it would be easier for me to dismiss my class earlier. It's just 2 minutes away from Limkokwing :D Vandy fetched me at exactly 10am. The hospital is so huge! and facilities are really impressive, no wonder it's one of the most high end hospital here in Sensok. Staff are friendly and nice, they can speak and understand English :D We were catered quickly to our room. So, we met the nurse and a Khmer doctor (Dr. Suthy). I was so nervous to lie down and face the big screen infront of me. Vandy was just silent and observing, he stood beside the doctor. The doctor was so nice and soft spoken, he was very patient on our manyyyyy questions! he understood because we are 1st timers haha! This monitor shows our baby's...
